When pulled out the screen has a couple of slight ripples in it but not enough to spoil the viewing experience and overall it seems good for the budget price. As the screen is intended for garden use i think it will need some weight on the leg in any slight wind. I think the only weakness is the very short pull out leg to stop it falling over. This screen seems quite well made for its size and opens out by simply pulling up on a small handle. The others all seem to be 4 x 3 and as screens are defined by the diagonal a 4 x 3 screen of the same nominal 40 inch size is a lot narrower and has a lot of wasted screen with a16 x 9 picture.
